{"id":47,"count":0,"description":"A selection of artists, a history bound up with modern and contemporary art\n\nGaler\u00eda Pilares presents a carefully chosen selection of artists whose careers reflect some of the most significant moments in modern and contemporary Spanish art.\n\nSince our beginnings in Cuenca in the early nineties, we have maintained a special connection with the extraordinary artistic legacy that grew up around the Museum of Spanish Abstract Art and the renewal of Spanish painting in the second half of the 20th century. This relationship has led us to work with artists linked to El Paso, to the so-called Cuenca Group and to other key figures of the Spanish avant-garde, together with artists of later generations who have enriched and extended that tradition.\n\nOur catalogue brings together highly regarded names such as Antonio Saura, Luis Feito, Antonio Lorenzo, Antonio Su\u00e1rez, Fernando Z\u00f3bel and Bonifacio Alfonso, alongside artists of different generations and sensibilities such as Juli\u00e1n Grau Santos, Alberto Cavazos, Javier Pagola, Miguel \u00c1ngel Moset, Manuel Ter\u00e1n and \u00c1ngel Pintado, among others.\n\nWe see choosing a work of art as a decision that combines sensitivity, knowledge and trust.
