Valuations and appraisals
We value artworks for insurance, estate division, sales or export. We work with private clients as well as insurance companies, banks and investment firms.
Authentication
We arrange the authentication of works by highly valued painters, usually required before insuring, selling or exporting a piece.
We buy and trade art
We buy artworks and accept exchanges from people who want to part with some of their collection, or swap pieces that no longer suit their home for others they like.
Estates and inherited collections
We handle the sale of entire collections and inherited lots, with inventory, valuation and a sales plan.
Deferred payment and client account
Flexible payment in easy instalments and a client account with discounts, so that collecting is sustainable.
Print publishing
We are publishers: we produce screenprints, lithographs, engravings and art reproductions, including exclusive editions for corporate gifts, hotels and public buildings.
Exhibitions and fairs
We organise solo and group shows, and we take part in —and organise— modern and contemporary art fairs.

PILARES Franchise
One of our most ambitious projects is the PILARES Franchise, which allows entrepreneurs to open an exhibition space or art gallery backed by almost thirty years of experience.
Franchisees also have access to several hundred paintings, drawings, sculptures, screenprints and engravings to offer their clients, strengthening their ability to develop the business.
How buying at Pilares works
01 · Choose the artwork
Through the shop or by writing to us. We will send you extra photos and details of the condition and provenance of the piece, with no obligation.
02 · Reserve or enquire
Add it to your basket to reserve it, or ask us for a quote. We always confirm availability in writing before charging anything.
03 · Pay at your own pace
Pay in full or in easy instalments. Opening a client account gives you discounts on future purchases.
04 · Receive it and enjoy it
Professional packing and insured shipping, with invoice and certificate. And if you ever change your mind, you can trade it for another piece in stock.
Common questions
Are the artworks you sell original?
Yes. Every artwork we publish is original: unique paintings and drawings, or limited-edition prints signed by the artist. Each piece comes with a gallery invoice and, where applicable, a certificate and edition details.
Can I pay in instalments?
Yes. We offer payment in easy instalments and a client account with discounts. Write to us and we will adapt the schedule to your needs.
What if I grow tired of the artwork after a while?
You can exchange it for another piece we have in stock. We understand that artistic tastes change, but a passion for art remains.
Do you ship?
We ship throughout Spain with professional packing and insurance, and we coordinate international shipments. The cost depends on the size and destination: we always confirm it before charging.
I want to sell a painting. Would you buy it?
We may well. We buy directly and also take work on consignment. Send us photos, dimensions, signature and any documentation you have, and we will reply with a realistic valuation.
Can I see the artworks in person?
Of course. In Cuenca we are open Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 14:00 and from 17:00 to 20:30. If another time suits you better, call +34 606 157 881 and we will arrange it.
