Celia Muñoz: tauromaquias

The exhibition presents the latest work by the Madrid artist Celia Muñoz, related only obliquely to the world of bullfighting, a subject that interests the artist because of the long tradition and the different treatments given to it by the great masters of Spanish painting, from Goya to Picasso, by way of Saura, Dalí, Barjola, Bonifacio and many more.

Visitors will find canvases, works on paper and prints, all inspired by a long pictorial tradition but reinterpreted through the artist’s personality, which gives each piece a chromatic and compositional force that will certainly not leave you indifferent.
